CONTROL, is a commentary on human behaviour. We live in a world where we need instant gratification which comes from externalities. We rely on them for our daily functioning - to wake up, to sleep, to be happy, to feel excited, to feel less anxious and so on. For example, we drink coffee to wake up, and we take melatonin to sleep. We drink to loosen up, and smoke to relax. Have we become unable to be self-sufficient?
Control depicts the future of man, lifeless and sapped of life getting his daily “fix” of what he deems necessary for his functioning. He believes he is in control but rather is a puppet to his addiction and need for satisfaction. It shows a magnetic and toxic relationship shared by the object and its user.
So who really is in control?
